Terms of Use

These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and Bikapo and its operators. By accessing Bikapo, creating an account, viewing markets, commenting, receiving points, or placing any trade, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use Bikapo. If you use Bikapo on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for them.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and legally able to enter into these Terms. You may not use Bikapo if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your login method secure, and promptly tell us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity on your account.

One person may not operate multiple accounts to evade rules, farm points, manipulate markets, or gain an unfair advantage.

Bikapo is a points-based social prediction market. Users can express views on future events by buying or selling outcome shares with points. Market prices may change as users trade and as new information becomes available.

Bikapo is for play, learning, entertainment, community discussion, and bragging rights. Bikapo does not provide investment, financial, legal, tax, betting, or professional advice.

Bikapo does not offer securities, derivatives, banking, money transmission, cash gambling, or any cash-out product. If Bikapo later introduces paid products or rewards, separate terms may apply.

Points are a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to participate in Bikapo features. Points are not money or property, have no cash value, and cannot be redeemed, withdrawn, exchanged, sold, transferred outside Bikapo, or used to buy goods or services.

We may grant, remove, expire, adjust, reverse, or limit points where we believe it is necessary to correct an error, enforce these Terms, comply with law, prevent abuse, or protect market integrity.

Your points balance, rankings, profits, losses, and trading history are part of the game experience only. They do not represent a debt owed by Bikapo to you.

Each market may include a question, outcomes, close time, description, rules, and resolution criteria. You are responsible for reading them before trading.

Trades may execute at prices different from the price you first saw because prices can move quickly. Except where Bikapo decides otherwise for integrity reasons, completed trades are final.

Bikapo may resolve a market using public sources, official announcements, reliable reporting, direct evidence, or other sources we reasonably consider appropriate for that market. Bikapo may also delay resolution, correct obvious mistakes, cancel or void a market, reopen a market, adjust an outcome, or take similar action if needed to produce a fair result.

Market resolution decisions are final unless Bikapo chooses to review them. We may publish explanatory notes but are not required to provide a full audit trail for every decision.

You may not manipulate markets, exploit bugs, use unauthorized automation, scrape at abusive rates, attack the service, create fake activity, coordinate wash trades, farm points, or interfere with other users.

You may not use non-public, stolen, confidential, or unlawfully obtained information in a way that harms Bikapo, market participants, or the fairness of the platform.

We may monitor activity, rate-limit usage, reverse suspicious actions, hide or remove markets, restrict features, or suspend accounts when we believe platform integrity is at risk.

You are responsible for comments, profile information, media, links, and other content you post. Do not post content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, hateful, harassing, defamatory, pornographic, invasive of privacy, misleading, spam, or designed to manipulate markets.

You keep ownership of content you submit, but you grant Bikapo a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, moderate, edit for formatting, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting Bikapo.

We may remove content or limit posting privileges at any time, especially where content creates legal risk, safety risk, market manipulation, or a poor community experience.

You may not use Bikapo for unlawful activity, fraud, harassment, impersonation, spam, malware, security testing without permission, sanctions evasion, or any conduct that could expose Bikapo or other users to harm.

You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit Bikapo except as permitted by law or with our written permission.

Bikapo is launching and will continue to evolve. Features, markets, prices, feeds, rankings, comments, points, and interfaces may change, break, be delayed, or be discontinued.

We may suspend or restrict access for maintenance, security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, product changes, or any other operational reason. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Bikapo, including its name, logo, design, software, market presentation, data displays, and other platform materials, is owned by Bikapo or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Bikapo for its intended purpose.

Bikapo may link to or reference third-party websites, news, social posts, official statements, market data, images, or other sources. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content.

Market information may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or disputed. You should make your own judgment before trading points.

We process account, device, usage, trading, balance, comment, and technical information to operate Bikapo, secure the platform, prevent abuse, improve the product, communicate with users, and comply with legal obligations.

By using Bikapo, you agree that we may send service messages related to your account, security, markets, points, policy updates, and platform operation. Marketing messages, if any, may include unsubscribe controls where required.

Bikapo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.

We do not guarantee that markets will be accurate forecasts, that prices will reflect true probabilities, that sources will be error-free, or that any outcome will resolve the way you expect.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bikapo and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, lost points, market losses, or service interruption.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bikapo's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of ZMW 100 or the amount you paid Bikapo, if any, in the six months before the claim arose.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bikapo and its operators from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of Bikapo, your content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

You may stop using Bikapo at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, misused points, harmed other users, or if we discontinue the service.

After termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will survive, including terms about points, content licenses, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, governing law, and dispute resolution.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Zambia, without regard to conflict of law rules. Before starting a formal dispute, you agree to contact us and try to resolve the issue informally.

Subject to any rights you cannot waive under applicable law, disputes relating to Bikapo or these Terms will be handled by the courts with jurisdiction in Zambia.

We may update these Terms as Bikapo grows. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as posting the updated Terms in the product. The updated Terms apply when posted unless a later effective date is stated.
